“Thoughts About: Manga” Coming Soon?

So I’ve kind of been on and off about this, but I kind of wanna to write my thoughts on manga that I’ve read. I have a lot of books, but manga is far much easier to get through in a good amount of time. I can read a manga in under a month, I can’t do that with a regular book.

I want to try and have a manga post up every month. I’m not promising that at all but I’m going to try.

Heads up: Most of the manga that I have are Yaoi mangas. I aim to buy more in the Yuri and shojo range later on.

Fangirling/Thoughts About: LongStory Game; A cute little LGBT friendly Dating Sim

I found out about this game a good year ago from Indie Statik’s blog (that’s not up anymore) and was immediately interested.

As a person who’s not huge into Dating Sims, I’ve mostly stayed away since most of them ones that are in my face are Hentai games or just plain in story and art style. Then there are the ones worth looking at like Love at First Sight, Hatoful Boyfriend, and Dandelion for completely different reasons that just make me really smile and carry too much about fictional characters.

LongStory Game one of those Dating Sims.

Thoughts About: Yo-Kai Watch: My Complete 180

Before I get into this, I’m going to say that there may be spoilers up to chapter 10, however, I will not be talking about the end of the game and most rank A to rank S Yo-Kai. But there will be a lot of talking in this post. Maybe less pictures, but I will be talking. Also, I cuss… Like, a lot.

Yo-Kai Watch (You-Kai Watch in Japan) is a collectathon type of game with over 200 Yo-Kai while having only 223 of them being catchable. I am not 100% sure if the ones after number 223 can be caught or not. I’ve seen so many people write this off as a Poke-clone… It is ANYTHING but Pokemon. The only Pokemon-like thing in this game is catching Yo-Kai. This game is on a chair of its own. Continue reading “Thoughts About: Yo-Kai Watch: My Complete 180”

Thoughts About: Pneuma: Breath of Life; An Interesting Short Puzzler

I’m going to start this off by saying I don’t think the game is worth $20. As of me writing this, you can get it free on Xbox One if you’re a gold member or $5 on Steam since it’s on sale. Otherwise, it’s best to just wait for the price to go down or hope someone puts it up on 99Gamers. It an okay game, just not worth the 20 they’re asking for.

Penuma is a fairly short philosophical  puzzle game. When I saw it I had confused it with another puzzle game that looks the same and yet does so much more, The Talos Principle, and wasn’t really that interested in playing it at all.

But then… On November 1st… It became free on Games With Gold.

So I thought; okay. If I don’t like it I wouldn’t feel bad because I didn’t have to pay for it.

It wasn’t The Talos Principle and I was completely at awe.
